The Prince of Tsavo

Description

I love leopards. However, I always considered myself a tad unlucky with spotting and photographing them. It’s rare to find them and when I do, there is always something which goes wrong.

This opportunity, however, was perfect. We were the only car around this cat, and he had his mum and sister waiting in the bush. He was full of beans, running up and down the tree constantly, finishing off the carcass hanging there. In this moment, he hesitated and gave me a perfect shot.

Which just goes to say, on safari, patience can lead to gold.
